The application of adhesives in gypsum dry-mix building materials is second only to water-retaining agents and retarders. Gypsum self-leveling mortar, bonding gypsum, caulking gypsum, and thermal insulation gypsum adhesives all rely on adhesives.

 Redispersible polymer powder (RDP) is widely used in gypsum self-leveling mortars, gypsum insulation compounds, and gypsum caulking putties.
