Typical Applications
Tile Adhesive
Good water retention gives you longer open time for more efficient tiling
Better adhesion and slip resistance – especially for heavy tiles
Improved workability with better lubricity and plasticity. Mortar goes on easier and faster
Cement Plaster / Dry Mix Mortar
Easy dry mix formula thanks to cold water solubility. No lumps – ideal for heavy tiles
Good water retention stops fluid loss to substrates. The mix keeps the right amount of water for longer working time
Increased water demand means longer open time, bigger spray area, and more economical formulas
Better consistency means easier spreading and less sagging
Wall Putty
Water retention keeps more water in the slurry
Anti-sagging stops rippling when you spread a thicker coat
Increased mortar yield – MHEC can increase volume depending on dry mix weight and formula
Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS)
Improved adhesion
Good wetting ability for EPS boards and substrates
Less air entrapment and lower water uptake
Self-Leveling Compounds
Prevents water from seeping out and materials from settling
Low viscosity won't affect slurry fluidity
Water retention improves the finish on the surface
Ink Applications
Consistent viscosity control
Good pigment dispersion
Stable rheology for printing
