With the increasingly widespread use of premixed mortar, Shijiazhuang Qingquan Cellulose Co., Ltd. has found that some premixed mortar construction procedures are somewhat rough. Correct construction methods can not only significantly improve mortar quality but also truly enhance construction efficiency.

General Plastering Mortar Construction Requirements:
1. The substrate should be flat, firm, and clean.
2. The substrate should be moistened with water, followed by a wall interface agent treatment.
3. The substrate should be moistened with water before plastering, but there should be no standing water on the substrate surface.
4. Plastering should be done in layers. Each layer should be applied only after it is 60-70% dry, with each layer not exceeding 1 cm in thickness. Applying a single layer is strictly prohibited.
5. When the plaster thickness exceeds 3.5 cm, reinforcement measures should be taken.
6. At the junction of different substrate materials, reinforcement measures should be taken to prevent cracking. When using reinforcing mesh, the width of each side should not be less than 10 cm.
7. After plastering is completed, it should be watered and cured promptly for at least 7 days.

Masonry Mortar Construction:
1. Moisture Content Requirements for Bricks or Blocks Before Construction:
Ordinary Clay Bricks: Watered 1-2 days before use (moisture content 10-15%);
Aerated Concrete Blocks: Watered 1-2 days before use (moisture content 8-12%);
Aerated Concrete Blocks: Watered appropriately on the construction surface during construction.
2. Mortar Joint Thickness should be controlled at 8-12 mm.
3. Mortar Laying Length:
When the temperature is below 30℃, the length of mortar laid at one time should not exceed 75 cm.
When the temperature is above 30℃, the length of mortar laid at one time should not exceed 50 cm.
4. Daily Construction Height Requirements:
Brick Masonry, Small Block Masonry: Should not exceed 1.5 meters or the height of one scaffold;
Stone Masonry: Not higher than 1.2 meters.
Of course, this is based on the premise that the premixed mortar uses high-quality raw materials. Adding ingredients like hydroxypropyl methylcellulose with good water retention and redispersible latex powder to improve mortar strength and adhesion is essential. If the mortar quality is poor, even the best subsequent construction will be ineffective!
